During a Health IT Standards Committee meeting this week, a group of CIOs call for a one-year delay in MU stage 2 requirements. They argue that EHR vendors will not deliver stage 2 certified software updates in time to implement, validate, and then train end users on the new requirements before the current deadline arrives.
