Senate to Vote on ‘Doc Fix’/ICD-10 Bill Today

The Senate will vote today on whether or not to approve a one-year delay of the temporary Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) “doc fix” bill, which would prevent a 24 percent cut in Medicare payments this year.

The Senate will vote today on whether or not to approve a one-year delay of the temporary Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) “doc fix” bill, which would prevent a 24 percent cut in Medicare payments this year.

The bill would also delay the ICD-10 compliance date by another year. The current compliance date is Oct. 1, 2014. Last week, the bill passed with a voice vote on Thursday afternoon, March 27.
