Senate Report Offers Recommendations to Reduce Fraud and Waste in Medicare and Medicaid. Six current and former members of the Senate Finance Committee, led by Ranking Member Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT), this week released a report outlining recommendations from 164 healthcare community stakeholders on ways to improve federal efforts to combat waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
