While Monday’s Consumer Health IT Summit in Washington, D.C., helped to kick off this year’s National Health IT Week with a bang, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ launch of its Meaningful Consent site brought increased attention to the issue of patient engagement, several other announcements and events helped to shape the week, as well.
