This was a well done video.
Aah….no such thing as the good “ol days ! Like the rat in the maze, this poor assistant used to be me…..instead of “When’s lunch ?” Caption should read when do I get my piece of cheeze ! And the rat race went on day after crazy day.
Now….15 seconds max with EHR to pull a chart….HOORAY !!!!

I entered the medical field 5 years ago with an EHR. Our office would call the vendor and ask if there was anything we could do to speed up chart access because really large charts would take up to 10 seconds to pop up and that just wasn’t acceptable. Maybe we should apologize to our vendor. We never knew how good we had it. With a hardware upgrade a couple years ago, most established charts take five seconds at most now. Thanks for showing the other side!
