According statistics, there are more physicians implementing EHRs in their offices and clinics versus hospitals. Granted the systems for ambulatory is less expensive than for large hospital complexes, but if it works as it does for the EHR Physicians and staff, there shouldn’t be a problem in implementing the hard and software with the funding and incentives for “Meaningful Use” in other physicians offices.

The health care team is empowered with the information at their fingertips. This inspires confidence and avoids stress for the patient and the health care team. I believe the efficiency will help health care providers concentrate on the patient instead of using valuable time on searching for information they need to care for the patient. I am very excited about this! J.Remaklus RN
