The certification of EHR systems is an ongoing process – as is the notification of those certifications.  There were two such announcements this week.  The first is from iChartsMD who announced certification of iChartsMD v5.2.  iCharts also announced that they’ll be entering the already crowded hospital market for EHRs.  The second certification announcement came from eDoc for their Telemedicine/EHR. iChartsMD Announces ONC-ACB 2012/2013 Inpatient Certification: Officially Enters the Hospital Market iChartsMD announced today that its electronic health records product (iChartsMD v5.2) is ONC-ACB Inpatient compliant and was certified as an Inpatient EHR by the Drummond Group

To support innovation and progress in health care, I have made the construction of a health IT infrastructure one of our state’s top strategic priorities. My administration has promoted Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption and supported the construction of a Maryland HIE (health information exchange). Connecting these systems to a common platform is the key to significant progress.

Purpose: To describe the development and application of an evidence-based Rural Health Framework to guide rural health program, policy and service planning.
